You know it’s weird…

I haven’t found a single motorcity ship that I didn’t like.

I guess I’m…

MOTORSEXUAL.

HAH I’VE FOUND YOU DISCOHORSE

PREPARE FOR PARTYYYYYYYYY

Rockabilly Burners!!

…. and decora-Chuck.

Someone mentioned me about the little “meme” about Chuck being “pastel goth” if he had an alternative style. Well… I srsly disagree with that choice, I mean, srsly… THOSE BANGS ARE MADE TO BE DECORA’D!

And Texas and Julie are just too goodin Rockabilly style. I’m totally gonna draw more Burners dressed as Rockabillys. But right now I really need to sleep, have work tomorrow :3

martiansugar:

lol okay all i do is post muck fic but they aren’t my only otp in motorcity??? soooooo this is a julie/texas fic bc i ship it with the force of a thousand fiery suns. i wrote it based on names and stuff, cuz like texas is always mixing up julie with claire and getting her name wrong but he actually does know her name and says it when it matters, so this is my take on when he says her name for the first time? also it would be gr8 if the fandom could convene on a proper/legit pairing name.

quick summary: julie gets into a mega-awful car crash and then feels. (no character death because i like happy things)

Okay this… I srsly wanna draw this as a comic.

I’m off to bed very early today. So here’s some Kawaii shit as a goodnight.

Texie headcanon time:
Texas have very heavy facial hairgrowth, like, he literally has to shave it every morning or he’ll grow a beard instantly. And he hates how it looks so he tries to always keep his face free from that.
But Julie loooves guys with beard, so Texas now has a very very serious dilemma.

I have to reblog this because beards, that’s why man. I never had a bearded boyfriend (actually no boyfriend at all sob sob) so I can’t tell if it’s annoying, practically speaking, but it does look very nice…. all fuzzy and comfy. (-w-)

Actually, beards (or at least half-grown out beards like in the picture) aren’t that fuzzy - making out with unshaved-Texas will give you a facial peeling more or less haha (I used to get all red around my chin when I was making out with my ex). Facial hair is not as soft as your regular hair. It’s thicker and the tips are sharper due to shaving. Though, after a week or so (depending on how fast it grows on the dude) the beard is long enough to feel a bit more fuzzy.
The guys I know that have quite a lot of facial hair that shave often, says that they don’t like having a beard because it tend to itch quite a bit the first period when the hair is growing out.
Also a fun fact: girls (and maybe some gay men too) who had fathers with beard often prefer guys with beards too. Of course, this can vary depending on how close you where to your father as a child. But I remember myself rubbing my face against my dad’s stubby chin in pure fascination (because you know, cis females don’t really grow beards). And nowadays, I always see it as a big big big big super-plus if a guy has heavy facial hair growth. I’m pretty sure it has to do with associations from childhood and such.
Aaaand since Julie’s father has a beard, my headcanon is that Julie likes guys with beards.
Now I made a ridiculous long post about why I drew this hahahaah ;;

NOOO it’s not a ridiculous long post, hahaha!
I do know that beards are not fuzzy and actually really sharp when still very short, but I didn’t think it would be unconfortable because I actually enjoy the scratchyness of short hair. xD I’m sure it would peel my entire face but… maybe it would be worth it?? Hahaha
And it’s a nice touch, Julie liking beards because her father has it! I wonder how would Texas look with a beard like Kane’s…

…I don’t know how to feel about this.
OH
AND I JUST REMEMBERED THIS
It’s not really exactly canon, but… I think it means Texas would do everything in his command to make a Kane like bear just for Julie, but it would be impossible because he’s a teenager (actually I refuse to believe they are all MY AGE I mean A 16 YEAR OLD DOESN’T HAVE SUCH BIG ARMS AND MUSCLES). Wait if he’s a teenager he would probably grow a beard very fast, right? I don’t remember how it was to my bro (= -=)

You can be 16 and have a big beard if you are lucky (?) it’s around that age when you get facial hair or not. I know a few guys from when I was 16 that had beard, they looked 7 years older and such lol.
Also, Texas is the shortest male in the team. Probably because he’s supposed to be asian, but when you are shorter but has a athletic body, you can look much more beefy than someone that’s two heads longer but has the same physique.
Personally, I have such a hard time to see the characters as 16-17 year olds, mainly because here in Sweden you can’t drive a car until you turn 18. So my first thought was “omg kids driving like crazy wtf is wrong with thi… oh wait it’s america never mind.”

I’m trying to find a new way to draw Texas more asian. I have quite a hard time finding the biggest signs of him being filipino.

And yes, Daddy Texas is talkin’ to me while drawing. This is completely normal.
