Concerning the target demographic issue…
Hmm..
Well now…
After speaking with my fellow co-admin, it seems there’s been a terrible misconception among some of our tumblr Motorcitizens regarding the recent target demographic epidemic…
You see now, older audiences still matter; their views are still counted no matter what - it’s just that the intended target demographic (6-11 year-old children,) matters.. well, more.
So, fellow peeps and motorcitizens should keep watching and supporting the show if they can! Just… try your best to get the kids interested in it, now will ya? Disney sure does like the surprise bonus of older viewers, but they want the kids to show interest too - y’know, for the potential merch and whatnot, probably.
So just think of all of the new, little mini-burners earning potential fun bucks for becoming new fans! Or Duke dollars. Or Kane Cash. Whatever the heck tickles your fancy.
All in all, I’m makin’ it your duty to go out there and get your little brother interested in the show! Or your little sister! Or your niece, nephew, younger cousin, friend’s siblings or what have you - just give them a go into watching the show! (Preferably around the age range 6-11, ahem… but now I’m just repeating myself.)
Oh, and make sure to ask their parents if they have a nielsen box too, if possible. And no, there aren’t any little cyber-cameras attached to them in order to figure out your age. And no, Big Brother Kane
or Dukeisn’t watching you through their holographic monitors either, much to your personal dismay…But they know who’s watching what because Nielsen households report info about the members in their little household, and that includes the age group of those living within the said household. And then those tiny Nielsen home units “transmit” and report the watched programs through a connected phone line. That’s how it works, you see.
So yeah! Keep watching - your view always counts, regardless of the circumstances! Remember that you - we - will never, EVER be left out of the big picture. BUT - Also remember that kids count too. Err, count more.… Err.. a lot more. You get the idea.
Now, cheerio.
I just love this blog’s posts.
