Btw a little trick if you have trouble drawing shaky lines with a drawing tablet

If you don’t have a drawing program that has a stabilizer like in Sai or Corel…

Then you can always put a sheet of paper on top of your tablet, this gives more physical friction to the drawing surface, which means you can easier draw slower strokes but less shaky.

this is a common technique used by many digital artists, and is recommended for those who are new to using drawing tablets but are more used to draw traditionally on regular paper.

The surface on a tablet is way more… “slippery” than a paper, so linearting isn’t 100% the same as inking traditionally.

One more fun thing to play around with, is that if you have a drawing you’ve made on paper, try re-tracing it with your tablet pen and see if you can “transfer” the lines to the canvas on the computer.

Just some thoughts I wanted to share. Yes this is what I do when I’m slightly bored.

muscles sure can look weird.

Now I’ve had enough of anatomy practise, time to draw some mc-fanart UvU

Did a little study of the back muscles. And as always I go a bit too far and ends up drawing the skeleton and the muscles and then tries to color it all like in the original photo and sdgkahjk…

But dang this is fun.

Dutch’s car Whiptail.
I’m so happy there’s plenty of references and model sheets to find on tumblr and such. Dutch’s car is definitely the most interesting one, it has a sleek and smooth design. Not that angular like the other cars, and you sort of can see the small resemblance to Dutch’s “animal” - a scorpion.
I’d love to sit and just listen to my favourite music in Dutch’s car, I bet his sound system kicks ass. I mean, just look at those speakers!!

This one is freehanded without a reference, just to try out the technique to a new level.

It was slightly more tricky, I forgot to add some sort of line of action to guide me. But the end result is quite okay.

I’m still livestreaming!
We are sort of done with the clothes and folds part and are now gonna move over to drawing hair!
