This is how I feel when I read posts that are supposed to be positive and “smooth” but srsly just creeps me out instead.

Krig RAWR update!

December is upon us in just one day. I guess the snow in Sweden will soon be arriving.
So we were wondering, now three chapters in, do you have a favorite character? Or just one you really would like to find out more about in the future?

Aaah finally I put this together.

This comic was made like a month ago during 24-hour comic day. I sadly didn’t have the energy to make it to 24 pages. But 20 is good enough tbh.

All the characters here are based on fanpro designs:

0011

0074

0344

0155

Oh yeah btw

"Hurry Guiding Compass! You must save the old white rich business man!"

This is just a “test page” for the comic I’m working on for the anthology project “2054” together with my comic buddies.
Since I’ve never worked with digital screentones for printing before, I wanted to make sure to learn how to work with it first before going all out on every page.
Screentones are awesome to work with and gives that really nice manga-touch to your comic. But there is some rocket science behind using it, since you gotta make sure to avoid issues like “moiré patterns” which often appears when zooming out on screentoned manga pages.
Also since I’m so proud over this page, here’s some closeups:

This is what I mean with “moiré” it often happens when you zoom out on the page. As long as it’s not visible in the printed result it shouldn’t be an issue. Manga Studio has tools and export options that can prevent moiré.

YES THAT’S RIGHT CHAPTER THREE HAS FINALLY BEGUN!

HEY GUYS GUESS WHAT??

This is a comic I did back in 2011 as a part of the “24 hour comic challenge”. Which means that you make a 24 page long comic in 24 hours. It’s a bit of a way to test your productivity skills. It was really fun and challenging since you aren’t allowed to plan the story ahead before starting the challenge. So a lot in this comic were improvised, and it was all based on the randomly generated title “The Angel from the tales”.

Lisa Medin’s awesome comic “Medley”. Man I really wished this one was available in english, you guys have no idea what you’re missing out!
It takes place in a world were people fight using music (I guess it’s the power of the “soundwaves”) and have their instruments as weapons.
The main character, Axel, is a “synthpopper” (half synth, half pop) and basically use a 2 meter (6,5 foot) tall synth to fight with.
His goal is to find a place where all musical genres will meet together, a place called Medley.

Man I really really REALLY hope she will release this comic internationally, because it really is good stuff!

Krig RAWR update: page 18!

Sneakpeak from the latest page:

What is going on here?

Krig RAWR webcomic has been updated! Please give it a read!

Sneakpeak from the page:

“Hey, what’s up?”

Rayon opened his eyes slowly, but didn’t respond.

“Hey, don’t worry, man! Thunder ain’t going to kill you!” The boy told him cheerfully, flailing his arms wildly. “Unless you did something bad. Then maybe, the Thunder God might spite you. You haven’t done anything bad, have you?”

Rayon merely stared at him like he was crazy. He was still trying in the middle of accepting that there was a strangely dressed dude in front of him spouting nonsense. What was he doing wearing such a huge jacket anyway? His arm barely reached half of the sleeve and the thing was long enough to be a woman’s dress. It made him look like tumbleweed and it would be funny if it weren’t so weird.

A minicomic about Rayon and Duke as kids when they met each other for the first time.

Btw: The silhouette in the distance of page 6 is supposed to be the beginning of building Detroit Deluxe. I imagine that it didn’t take one day to create Deluxe, but was something that grew steadily over the years.

It started just as a big wall with the intention to protect the city. Then over time, the wall grew higher and higher and in the end, turn into a new city above the old one.

Duke and trans!No.2/Babs “mini-comic” (tw: Body Dysphoria)

So, there’s been a lot of headcanons about transsexuality in the Motorcity-tag. And I’m jumping on that trend with my own headcanon that No.2 is mtf.

Duke loves his Babs-Baby to no end, he’s ready to help her get the best treatment available in motorcity (maybe even kidnap a surgeon from Deluxe?) However, he doesn’t really know what to say to her when she’s feeling down, all he can do is hold her and tell her that he’ll fix her because he’s the mothaf***ng Duke of Detroit.

Disclaimer: This is the first time I’ve ever posted a comic about trans* issues and similar subjects. Since I am cisgendered, I will never 100% understand how it is to be trans* and the struggles that comes with it. I hope I have not offended anyone with this comic, if so, please point it out to me and I will correct or remove it.
