Putting an end to the “When did this”-debate

tombie:

A quick analyze of how the hips affect the shape of the thighs - which also affect the main difference between a masculine or feminine body shape.
(Masculine legs are based on Glen Keane’s design of Disney’s Tarzan - which btw IS anatomically correct if we exclude the size of the head and so on.)
Disclaimer: I don’t think “exaggerated” was the right word for those legs. “Slimmed down” would probably be more correct. Anyway…

It’s interesting that there’s plenty of anatomy books that shows the skeleton, muscles, tendons, skin… but I’ve never seen anyone illustrate the areas where the bodyfat appears the most

And by that I mean not by “well it’s around the abdomen derp”, but more like… if it collect the main areas of bodyfat in a certain shape around the body.

Hard to explain what I’m thinking, but I guess I have to make this kind of illustration myself since no one else seem to do it >:(
