Skin tone color study

One thing I’ve had problems with when painting darker skin tones, is to know how the general color mood affect the skintones. Sure you could just go with how you paint light skin and then just darken it, but I think that the best way to find out is to simply do a color study from a photo with that specific color mood/light source.

Also note that I did not use any adjustment layers or effect tools such as glow/burn tools etc. I only used my own observation to find the right colors and used a brush with lower opacity and just colorpicked a lot.
