Painting with light - quickest way to practice...
Painting with “light” is super effective, since we will instantly recognize a natural face with just placing the strokes on the main areas of the face.
The forehead, cheekbones and nosebridge are the first areas to appear when we place the light source above.
After those comes the muzzle around the mouth, under lip and the chin.

Art-terms/words that bothers me #1
“Lineless Art” or “lineless drawing”. This is a term commonly used by “young artists” (just search on lineless on dA and you’ll more or less find mostly novice art, yeah I know I rock at researching).
What bothers me is not the word, but more about when people use it on art that does not go under that word.
